Five Star Cellars
Winemaker: Winemaker Matt Huse was born and raised in the Walla Walla Valley. He entered the Enology and Viticulture Program at Walla Walla Community College in the Winter of 2001 with the first participating class. The 2002 vintage was his first as a winemaker. After graduating the program in 2003, he began his life dream and dedication to produce quality wine at Five Star Cellars. Vineyards: Five Star Cellars uses only grapes from the Best Vineyards in The Walla Walla Valley. They are Pepper Bridge, Seven Hills, Blue Mountain, Les Collines, Heather Hills, Spofford Station, Pheasant Run, and Frazier Bluff. Wines: Five Star Cellars wines include award-wining Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Merlot, Sangiovese and Syrah. The winery has received recent recognition by the Tri-Cities Wine Festival, Seattle Wine Awards, Wine Spectator and Wine & Spirits.
